David Solway is the Vice President, and Co-Founder of Ryze Consulting, bringing over 15 years of executive search expertise in Japan. He has a distinguished track record of successfully placing senior leaders across industries including Technology, Information Services, Manufacturing, Chemicals, and Pharmaceuticals.
Renowned for his deep market insight and strategic approach, David has been instrumental in helping organizations secure top talent for their most competitive and business-critical roles. Originally from Ohio, USA, David studied International Studies at Ohio State University before furthering his education as an exchange student at Hokkaido University. He began his career as a consultant in 2005 and has since built a career marked by expertise, cultural fluency, and long-term client partnerships.
Fluent in Japanese and a permanent resident of Japan, David combines his global perspective with a deep understanding of the local market. Outside of work, he is an avid CrossFit enthusiast and cyclist.

アメリカのオハイオ州出身。オハイオ州立大学でInternational Studiesを学び、北海道大学へ交換留学生として初来日後、2005年からコンサルタントのキャリアをスタート。日本語が堪能で日本の永住権を持つ。趣味はクロスフィットとサイクリング。
