When applying for and using the Recruitment Consulting Service provided by Ryze Consulting Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Ryze Consulting”), please carefully read and agree to the following terms and conditions (hereinafter “Terms”).
1. Definitions
The terms used in these Terms are defined as follows:
- Recruitment Consulting Service
A collective term for services including matching a candidate’s information to an employer’s recruitment requirements, providing information on job postings and employment opportunities, offering career consultation via face-to-face or telephone interviews, supporting recruitment activities through professional consultants, and assisting with job application procedures. - Users
Individuals who have applied for and begun using the Recruitment Consulting Service after obtaining approval from Ryze Consulting. - Employers
Companies that have entrusted their recruitment assignments to Ryze Consulting based on a separate recruitment contract. - Ryze Consulting Recruitment Service Website

2. Application
Applications for the Recruitment Consulting Service shall be submitted through methods specified on the Ryze Consulting Recruitment Service Website, pamphlets, advertisements, or other designated media.
If an individual has previously violated the Terms upheld by Ryze Consulting, Ryze Consulting reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline the provision of the Recruitment Consulting Service or any other services, even if the application and registration process has been completed.
3. Provision of Services
Ryze Consulting will, at its sole discretion, provide Users with appropriate services selected from the following:
(a) Verifying the information submitted by Users against Employers’ recruitment requirements and providing employment information accordingly.
(b) Scouting Users who best match Employers’ recruitment needs.
(c) Assisting with job application procedures.
(d) Providing career consultation via telephone or interviews.
(e) Supporting recruitment activities through professional consultants.
(f) Any other services Ryze Consulting deems beneficial to Users’ career advancement.
4. Duration of Recruitment Consulting Service
The Recruitment Consulting Service will be provided continuously as long as Ryze Consulting determines that the User intends to continue their job search and that a suitable job opportunity is likely to arise.
However, as a general rule, the services specified in the previous clause will be provided for a maximum of one year from the date the User is notified of the service commencement. If a User successfully secures a job through the Recruitment Consulting Service, the service will terminate on the User’s hiring date. If a User requests termination of the service, Ryze Consulting will process the termination as soon as reasonably possible.
5. Modification, Suspension, or Termination of Service
Ryze Consulting may, at its discretion, modify or suspend all or part of the Recruitment Consulting Service without prior notice to Users, including reassignment of consultants. Additionally, with prior notice, Ryze Consulting may terminate all or part of the service.
In compliance with the Employment Security Act, recruiting agencies are prohibited from soliciting candidates placed through their own recruitment service for a period of two years following employment. Accordingly, Ryze Consulting is unable to offer Recruitment Consulting Services to Users within this restricted period.
6. Termination of Service
Ryze Consulting may terminate the provision of the Recruitment Consulting Service without prior notice if any of the following apply:
(a) The User violates any clause in these Terms.
(b) The User repeatedly fails to respond to Ryze Consulting without a legitimate reason.
(c) The User repeatedly makes requests beyond the scope of the Recruitment Consulting Service.
(d) Ryze Consulting determines that maintaining a professional relationship with the User is difficult.
7. Re-Application for the Recruitment Consulting Service
Ryze Consulting complies with the Employment Security Act, which prohibits encouraging job changes for Users who have secured employment through the service within the past two years.
If a User wishes to reapply for the Recruitment Consulting Service within this two-year period, they must agree to these Terms. By agreeing to the Terms, Ryze Consulting will recognize the User’s re-application as their own independent decision and may provide the service accordingly.
8. Handling of Personal Information
Ryze Consulting will properly acquire, use, provide, and manage Users’ personal information in accordance with its separately established Guidelines for Handling Personal Information.
9. Accuracy of Personal Information
Users must provide accurate and complete personal information to Ryze Consulting and Employers. If any provided information is found to be inaccurate or incomplete, and an Employer or third party raises objections, demands, or requests, the User shall bear full responsibility for resolving such disputes and indemnify Ryze Consulting from any resulting claims.
10. Submission of Documents
Users shall promptly submit the following documents upon request from Ryze Consulting:
(a) Official identification verifying the User’s name and address.
(b) Resident card to confirm residence status or a work qualification certificate.
(c) Any additional documents reasonably requested by Employers.
11. Verification
Ryze Consulting will verify the information submitted by Users against Employers’ recruitment requirements but cannot disclose assessment standards or decisions. If a User applies for a specific job, Ryze Consulting may, at its discretion, decline to introduce the User to the Employer if the Employer’s selection criteria are not met.
12. Employment Conditions
Ryze Consulting will provide Users with employment conditions and contract details confirmed with Employers upon request. However, Users are responsible for directly confirming the final terms before accepting an offer. Users acknowledge that conditions communicated by Ryze Consulting may differ from the final contract terms.
13. Password Management
If Ryze Consulting issues a password for service use, Users shall be responsible for its security and must not share or disclose it to third parties.
14. Prohibited Conduct
Users are prohibited from the following:
(a) Providing false or misleading personal information.
(b) Obstructing the business operations of Ryze Consulting or Employers.
(c) Insulting or harassing other Users, Employers, Ryze Consulting staff, or Affiliates.
(d) Infringing upon intellectual property rights, confidential information, or privacy rights.
(e) Misusing information obtained through the service or disclosing it to third parties.
(f) Contacting Employers introduced by Ryze Consulting without prior consent.
(g) Failing to attend interviews or declining job offers without a legitimate reason.
(h) Violating any applicable laws or public moral standards.
15. Confirmation with Employers
If discrepancies arise between an Employer’s reported conditions and those communicated by a User, Ryze Consulting may verify the facts with the Employer.
16. Information Processing
Ryze Consulting may use anonymized User information for media publications. All proprietary rights to such information shall belong exclusively to Ryze Consulting.
17. Exclusion of Antisocial Forces
Users must not belong to or engage with organized crime groups or similar entities. Violation of this clause will result in immediate service termination.
18. Disclaime
Ryze Consulting does not guarantee employment through its service. Any disputes between Users and Employers regarding employment conditions must be resolved directly by the parties involved. Ryze Consulting bears no liability for damages except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
19. Force Majeure
Ryze Consulting shall not be liable for service interruptions due to natural disasters, cyberattacks, or other unforeseeable circumstances beyond its control.
20. User Liability
Users shall be liable for any losses or damages caused to Ryze Consulting, its Affiliates, or third parties due to violations of these Terms.
21. Amendments
Ryze Consulting may update these Terms as necessary. Revised Terms will be posted on the Recruitment Service Website, and continued use after one month will be deemed as acceptance.
22. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Unstipulated matters shall be resolved in good faith under Japanese law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court or Tokyo Summary Court.
